XLR8 Limited is a Hong Kong-based sports technology company developing precision timing and measurement hardware for sprinters and coaches, under the ALDOMETER brand.
Our story
XLR8 started from a simple frustration: sprint training generates almost no usable data. Stopwatches are imprecise, video review is slow, and most measurement tools are built for labs, not lanes.
We set out to build instruments that give athletes and coaches real numbers, on the spot, without changing how a training session actually runs. ALDOMETER Speed — our radar-based speed measurement device — is the first result of that work, engineered and refined through the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) incubation programme.

How we build
XLR8's team combines hardware engineering with real experience on the track, so every product decision is grounded in both what a device needs to survive and what a coach actually needs to see.
Just as important is what happens after a device ships. Feedback from the coaches and athletes using ALDOMETER in daily training feeds directly back into our design process — shaping firmware updates, feature priorities, and the products we build next.
